About this file
This is an Addendum document from Hall County Government Financial Services Purchasing Division providing responses to bidder questions for ITB #036-45 FY25 Hall County CHIP Single-Family Home Repair Project. The document addresses five specific questions related to a home repair project in Gainesville, GA, focusing on construction details and logistics for work to be performed on a single-family residence.
The addendum clarifies that contractors must include pricing for rot repair below siding and at trim corners, replacement of non-compliant front porch decking, and specifies these items should be added as separate line items on the Cost Proposal Worksheet (Exhibit C). It confirms that a superintendent is not required to be on-site at all times during work. Regarding occupancy during construction, the document states that homeowners/residents will remain in the home during work, with the option to temporarily relocate during significant disruptions like ceiling work, though no funding is provided for relocation. A pre-construction meeting will be held to discuss schedules and work details with both contractor and residents.
