About this file

This document is an Addendum No. 1 issued by the PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS OFFICE OF PURCHASING AND SUPPLY regarding RFP No. 032-22 for a Bid Water Sampling Project. The addendum provides responses to 26 questions from prospective proposers, including details on the anticipated number of water samples (15,000), the existing contract with Microbac Laboratories, the time and materials nature of the project, the submission requirements (1 original, 1 hardcopy, 1 USB copy, and electronic submission via eMMa), and the lack of barcoded devices or responsibility for turning off devices over 5ppb. A bid bond is not required, but MBE 3325 forms must be submitted. Pricing should include costs from both Microbac and the proposer's preferred laboratory, and the vendor will be responsible for hosting the lead in water (LIW) database system.

The addendum also clarifies that the request for contract renewal must be submitted in writing at least ninety (90) days prior to the renewal term, and a minimum of forty-five (45) days' notice of cancellation is required. There is no incumbent contractor, and the total budget for the project is not specified.
