About this file
This is a Bid Form for a Construction Contract issued by the City of Gunnison, Colorado, specifically for a 2025 Tree Grinding project. The document outlines a unit price bid for tree grinding services, with an estimated 45 hours of work involving processing tree trunks and limbs at the City Tree dump (located at 137 County Road 51) and hauling the ground material to the City of Gunnison Wastewater Treatment Plant (located at 524 County Road 32). The bid includes two primary line items: mobilization (1 lump sum) and tree grinding (45 hours), with the bid remaining open for acceptance for 60 days after the bid opening.
The bid form specifies that the bidder must provide equipment in good working order capable of processing large tree trunks and limbs, along with experienced operators. The document requires the bidder to certify the bid's genuineness, confirm no collusive practices, and acknowledge understanding of all bidding documents and site conditions. Bidders must submit a Certificate of Liability Insurance with their bid and are expected to be familiar with all laws, regulations, and domestic preference requirements. The pricing will be determined on a unit basis, with final payment based on actual quantities performed, and the bidder must agree to the contract's terms regarding liquidated damages and project completion.
