About this file

This document contains a budget template and guidance for applicants to a Broad Agency Announcement from the Library of Congress seeking proposals for its Innovator in Residence Program. The budget template outlines a five-milestone structure and includes sections for labor costs, travel expenses, equipment and supplies, and contractual services. Labor costs should include names, titles, hourly rates and hours worked. Travel expenses must justify how each trip supports project goals. Equipment must describe the purpose of each item. Contractual services must provide itemized budgets and costs for deliverables. The Broad Agency Announcement solicits proposals that connect Library collections to new audiences through insight, inspiration, discovery, creative remixing or reuse. Applicants are required to research Library collections, create a digital work, host a public program and act as an ambassador during their residency period.
