About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details a contract for a chemistry analyzer lease for the CSU Laboratory at Crow/Northern Cheyenne Hospital. The contract is for a 12-month base period with four 12-month option years, requiring a single chemistry analyzer capable of performing approximately 10,000 cost-per tests monthly. The contractor must provide a fully operational FDA-approved analyzer with comprehensive capabilities, including 110 reagent/diluent positions, automated onboard calibrators, short sample detection, and the ability to perform a extensive test menu across drugs of abuse, general chemistry, therapeutic drug monitoring, and immunoassay categories.

Key technical requirements include 24/7 technical support, emergency repair response within 24 hours, toll-free remote telephone support, on-site technical support during installation, training for government users, and maintaining 95% equipment operational time. The analyzer must interface with current laboratory management software, have no standby mode, and be able to perform all analytes listed in Appendix A, which includes over 70 distinct tests ranging from basic metabolic panels to specialized tests like HIV, hepatitis, and vitamin screenings. The estimated annual patient test volumes are provided in Appendix B, with some tests like creatinine (7,750 tests), glucose (7,000 tests), and TSH (3,000 tests) being most frequent.
