APPENDIX A

MANDATORY TRAINING FOR CONTRACTOR EMPLOYEES

1. The table below provides a current list of mandatory training requirements mandated by DoD, HQDA or USASMDC Headquarters applicable to contractor employees (prime contractor and subcontractor) that provide unescorted access support in USASMDC, Army Contracting Command and Joint Functional Component Command for Integrated Missile Defense (or other Government) facilities, have access to Army networks, or access to developmental or operational information relating to Army current or future capabilities. (Contractor employees who provide temporary, intermit facility support [for example, electrician, plumbing, and HVAC specialists] are not required to complete mandatory training requirements.) Note that contractor employee training shall be in appropriate billable status as determined by the responsible contracting officer in coordination with the prime contractor, if needed.

2. Other mandatory training requirements may arise via mandates such as operational orders, policies, regulations, etc., that contractor employees shall complete without the need for modification to the table below. Note also that other contractor employee mandatory training requirements not stated in this appendix may be required by this contract (e.g., Anti-Terrorism Awareness, iWATCH, Operations Security [OPSEC], etc.).

3. Records and files shall be established and maintained by the contract employee's company and made available by the contractor program manager (PM) (or other company official selected by the contractor) to any individual authorized access by the responsible contracting officer. Records and files shall include the tracking of contractor employee's mandatory training records and/or proof of mandatory training compliance.

As requested by the cognizant COR, the prime contractor shall report training as a percent completed via an appropriate CDRL or other mechanism as directed by the cognizant COR. If requested by a COR, the prime contractor will provide the date a contractor employee completed a training requirement.
