About this file
Addendum No. 3 is a contract document issued by Anderson, Eckstein and Westrick, Inc. for the City of Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan, regarding the Lake Front Park Boat Launch Parking Lot and Wedgewood Resurfacing project (AEW Project No.: 0160-0480). The addendum, dated 1/10/2025, provides a critical clarification to the contract documents specifically addressing the aggregate base material for the boat launch area.
The key clarification in this addendum concerns the material specifications for the aggregate base. According to Section 902.05 of the MDOT 2020 Standard Specifications for Construction, crushed concrete will not be considered an acceptable material for the aggregate base due to the project's proximity to a water course. Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum by adding the addendum number and date to Page 1 of the Bid Form, ensuring that their bid price reflects the updated project conditions and material requirements.
