About this file

This is a Call for Bids document issued by the State of Washington for early work packages related to the Central Hall TREX project. The project encompasses early procurement, demolition, and construction activities including demolition of existing structures, concrete work, structural steel installation, structural glass curtain wall systems, and pedestrian boarding bridges. The solicitation invites qualified general contractors and specialty trade contractors to submit bids for these select activities as part of the larger SIA Central Hall project. Specific response deadlines, site visit opportunities, and a bidders' conference are outlined to ensure prospective bidders have adequate information and access to project details prior to bid submission.

The bidding process is structured to accommodate multiple work packages, allowing contractors to bid on individual packages or combinations thereof based on their capabilities and qualifications. The document establishes pricing terms, bid submission requirements, and evaluation criteria designed to ensure competitive procurement and selection of qualified contractors capable of executing early-phase work to support the overall Central Hall TREX development timeline. Interested bidders should review all documentation carefully and participate in mandatory or optional site visits and the bidders' conference to clarify scope, specifications, and project requirements before submitting their bids.
