About this file

This Statement of Work outlines requirements for procuring and installing a stationary on-demand nitrogen generation system for the 60 MXS/MXMTA Wheel and Tire Building 812 at Travis Air Force Base. The system must support maintenance, rebuilding, and filling of aircraft wheels and tires for C-5, C-17, and KC-46 aircraft with clean dry nitrogen at 99.5% purity.

The contractor shall provide a self-generating nitrogen generation plant capable of producing a minimum 14 Standard Cubic Feet per Minute at 99.5% purity with outlet pressure capability up to 500 psig or higher, supported by holding tank storage capacity of at least 1,000 cubic feet at 500 psig or greater. Minimum system specifications include a stationary nitrogen generator plant (480VAC/3-phase 60Hz, less than 6,000 pounds), regulator panel with two outlets (0-5000 PSIG range), nitrogen cylinder storage assembly or equivalent, installation lines, hoses and fittings, technical and owner's manuals, and a purity analyzer measuring nitrogen purity, oxygen content, and moisture content. The system must be rated for outdoor installation in typical Travis AFB weather conditions. The contractor shall also decommission and remove the existing BAUER-SVGII nitrogen generation plant. All parts and labor must be warranted for 2 years, with completion required within 12 weeks after award. The contractor must qualify all Wheel and Tire technicians on system setup, use, inspection, and maintenance. Point of contact is SSgt Raygene Ladia at 707-424-2166, with delivery to 269 Ellis Road, Building 812, Travis AFB, California 94535.

Statement of Work for

60 MXS/MXMTA

Wheel & Tire Bldg 812

Stationary On-Demand Nitrogen Generation System

60 MXS Wheel and Tire section has a requirement for maintaining, re-building, and filling aircraft wheels and tires for C-5, C-17, and KC-46. The tires must be filled with clean dry nitrogen with a purity of 99.5%.W

Description:

The contractor shall provide a self-generating gaseous nitrogen generation plant capable of producing a dry nitrogen product at a purity level 99.5% at a rate of a minimum 14 Standard Cubic Feet per Minute (SCFM) with the ability to boost outlet pressure up to 500 psig or higher with a holding tank(s) storage capacity of at a minimum: 1,000 cubic feet of nitrogen at 500 psig or greater. The Stationary On-Demand Nitrogen Generation System must meet the following minimum specifications:

- Stationary Nitrogen Generator Plant (480VAC/3phase 60Hz, Weight less than 6,000LBS)

- Regulator Panel w/ 2 Outlets (pressure range of 0-5000 PSIG)

- Nitrogen Cylinders Storage Assembly or Rack (or equivalent to reach 1000 cubic feet or more of stored/ready to use Nitrogen

- Lines, hoses and fittings required for installation

- Relevant Technical/Owner’s Manual

- Purity Analyzer (purity level of nitrogen, oxygen content and moisture content of output)

- Nitrogen generation plant must be rated for outdoor installation in the typical weather conditions at Travis AFB.

The contractor shall decommission and remove the existing BAUER-SVGII nitrogen generation plant, which is being replaced. The current unit is at its end-of-life, incurs rising service costs, and cannot meet the increased capacity required for an additional airframe at Travis AFB.

Point of Contact:

The contractor shall coordinate with SSgt Raygene Ladia at 707-424-2166.

Shipping address: 269 Ellis Rd. Building 812 Travis AFB, California 94535

Special Requirements:

All Parts and Labor will be warrantied for 2 years Complete required effort within 12 weeks after award

Qualifications/Certifications:
