Questions and Answers for Solicitation 00HCCA16-2019-30056
1. Please confirm that his is not set aside for small business.
Answer: This is not a small business set aside.
2. There does not appear to be a price schedule provided with the solicitation. Are vendors to create their own schedules?
Answer: Two alternate answers. 1) The type and size of Labpack, Universal wastes, personnel and freight are descripted in columns A and B of the attached Excel spreadsheet. 2). Vendors who create their own schedules will have their answers put into a schedule for comparison.
3. If vendors are to create their own schedules, how will the cost of services be accurately determined since each bidder will submit pricing in different formats?
Answer: Vendors who create their own schedules will have their answers put into a schedule for comparison.
4. Please provide any usage report available showing the 2017/2018 quantity, by CLIN, for services requested under this solicitation.
Answer: Attached is a Schedule of Usage, 2017-2018. It is in the same format as ‘Excel Format for Bid’ also attached.
5. Please provide any waste report available showing the 2017/2018 quantity of waste by type.
Answer: The Haz Chem Waste by Type 2017 Manifest Summaries; (attached) is taken directly from the shipping manifests.
6. Please provide the number of service requests (waste collections) made in 2017/2-18.
Answer: Four hauls in 2017, three hauls in 2018.
1. Is there an excel sheet or other format that we are to use for the pricing portion of the proposal? If not..do we develop our own?
Answer: You can sent your quote in any form you would like. If we have any problems with the price proposal we will contact you. There is no formal format.
It might help if they used the attached format. It’s how I compare CPS costs from haul to haul. Column A may look like it repeats a lot, but column B shows several sizes of containers for shipping the Labpack listed in column A.
