About this file
This is a Market Research Survey from DLA Troop Support Philadelphia seeking information about Lanyard, Safety, Industrial (NSN: 4240-00-807-6856). The survey aims to determine an acquisition strategy for a potential Definite Quantity Contract with an anticipated quantity of 2,000 units.
The survey requests information about whether the item is commercial or modified commercial, material composition, domestic vs. foreign sourcing, production capabilities, pricing stability, and quantity break points. Companies must indicate if they are manufacturers, wholesalers, or distributors, confirm FOB Origin delivery capability, and provide their business size status and EDI/DIBBS registration status. The document includes a discrepancy between the survey's focus on safety lanyards and the related opportunity's focus on electric air heaters, suggesting a possible mismatch in the documentation or NSN reference. Responses should be sent to John Lieb at john.lieb@dla.mil, though no specific deadline is provided beyond "ASAP."
