Dear Offerors, Enclosed is a solicitation package prepared by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix, Contracting Office, for the acquisition of commercial items for our facility. This package contains all necessary information for you to submit to the government your price quotes for an Electrical Grid Inspection, Maintenance and Repair Service Contract. This contract shall be categorized as a Life Safety contract and will be awarded for 60 months. This contract will be subject to the Service Contract Act, Wage Determination 2015-4191, Revision 20, Dated 06/27/2022. The primary services shall be included in the contract, but are not limited to the following objectives:

• Annual Inspections

• Maintenance and Repair

• Emergency Repairs

The Government shall award a single award to the lowest responsive/responsible quote submitted for all items listed on the attached Standard Form 1449. Interested parties will submit price for each element for the following performance of periods.

• Base Year – Date of Award through 12 months

• Option Year 1 – 13 months through 24 months

• Option Year 2 – 25 months through 36 months

• Option Year 3 – 37 months through 48 months

• Option Year 4 – 49 months through 60 months

• Optional Six-Month Extension – FAR 52.217-8 – 61 months through 66 months

All interested parties shall be registered into the www.sams.gov system and be in good standing.

Properly registration shall establish a Unique Entity Identification (UEI) number. Contractor shall be willing to accept Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) as a form of payment.

SITE VISIT: REQUEST FOR INTEREST NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 21, 2022

SITE VISIT: DECEMBER 29, 2022 @ 10:00 am

CLOSING DATE: JANUARY 5, 2023

Parties interested in conducting the site visit, shall complete the attached National Crime Information Center (NCIC) for a minimum background verification. Submit attached form to Ms. Nicole Melendez at nmlelendez@bop.gov no later than December 21, 2022. All parties shall be notified of results of background verification.

QUESTIONS REGARDING ANY CONTENT TO INCLUDE THE SPECIFIC ITEMS ON THE SOLICITATION, SHALL BE ADDRESSED TO MS. ROXANN GARCIA @ rx1garcia@bop.gov.

**Please complete the Standard Form 1449 as such: Blocks 17a, 30a, 30b, and 30c. Sign the bid sheet and add your company name. Please complete and return the attached Contractor Information Sheet.**

Submit your final bid/quote via email to rx1garcia@bop.gov with the subject line 15BFTD23Q00000010, no later than January 5, 2023 @ 11:59 pm EST. All bids/quotes must contain the following:

BID SHEET

A receipt of your email shall be acknowledged from the Contracting Officer, Ms. Garcia. If you do not receive an email from Ms. Garcia acknowledging your receipt, it is your responsibility to follow up to ensure the Contracting Officer has received your bid. Otherwise, your bid may be rejected post award.
