Q24. Are there any limitations to the number of work locations that can be worked in at any given time??

A24. It is the City’s intention to support the work to be performed as expeditiously as possible. In accordance with the Contract Documents and Pre-Bid Meeting discussion, areas of work can be performed simultaneously with approval by the Owner. This approval will be subject to factors including, but not limited to, staff availability and operational needs of the public water system as a whole.

Q25. Are any existing traffic loops expected to be encountered with utility work or pavement repair operations?

A25. Yes. Bidder shall become familiar with work near signalized intersections.

Q26. Can the 20” & 36” thrust collars on either side of the proposed valve be combined to into one collar, or are two independent thrust collars necessary on either side of the valve, totaling four collars?
