Question and Answer
1. CLIN 0001. The drawing shows 4 layers (Layer 2, 3, 4 and 5) with the 7 cavities totaling 11” thickness, which would result in 11” deep cavities. On layer 5, I see a note within the large cavity showing “11”. I assume this refers to the depth of the cavity. There is also a note in the left-hand smaller cavity noting “12”. Does this refer to the depth of the 6 smaller cavities? I assume all cavities should be 11” deep but wanted to clarify.
Answer: 11” deep cavities.
2. The drawing for CLIN 0002 does not show any lid foam. Is lid foam not required for the cases in
CLIN 0002?
Answer: Please include solid lid with foam.
3. CLIN 0006 calls out Pelican Backpack P/N MPB-35-Black. Pelican just informed us that the lead time on these backpacks is currently about 7 months. Is this acceptable?
Answer: The lead time is acceptable.
4. For CLINs 0001 & 0002, does the end user require us to provide cases as well, or just the custom foam inserts?
Answer: CLIN’s 0001 and 0002 is foam only and do not require cases.
