QUESTIONS AND RESPONSE

ADVANCED HACKING METHODOLOGIES

1. Please provide more detail on the delivery model that they are seeking with 4 weeks of self-paced training per group. Given this is self-paced, what's the reasoning behind scheduling 4-weeks. Is the vendor required to be involved over those 4-week iterations?

Government Response: The students utilize a voucher/token to be given access to online self-paced training. The students are required to fulfill course completion milestones which require them to complete lessons within the designated training period. Students will submit completion milestones to the instructor cadre to demonstrate progress and mastery of the lessons. The complexity and number of the exercises and lessons the students will participate in requires time. Students will participate in lessons that include both reading and videos, along with completing practical exercises, and are required to complete different objectives designed within the training.

2. How are these self-paced classes going to be facilitated?

Government Response: Not certain I completely understand this question. The training is conducted via an online service. The lessons are pre-established and interactive via the online service. The students can ask and get answers through help features, but the course doesn't come with any dedicated instructional support.

3. Will all the students in a Group be in a classroom together?

Government Response: Yes. The students will normally be in a classroom together to collaborate, assist, and discuss material, along with a 170A WOAC instructor to aid and assist training. Because the course is self-paced, the students may not necessarily be at the same point in the course.

4. Is Certification an Objective at the End of the training?

Government Response: There is no certification required at the end of training. The currently contracted service does provide a certification capability (eCPPTv2) at an additional cost, but the USACyS does not require or purchase this course certification process.

5. Who are the audience profile-what experience?

Government Response: Active Army, Army Reserve, and National Guard 170A Warrant Officers (WO) in the grade of W2-W3 who are prepared to receive intermediate to advanced technical training. This is a Hacking Methodologies course of instruction that provides advanced skills and TTPs to the 170A Cyber Technician.
