1 Introduction The US Army Dugway Proving Grounds (DPG) owns and operates 176 photoionization (PID) small handheld gas analyzers. A contract for the potential service and or repair of the PID analyzers is requested. The quotation should be provided for the cost of service or repair to DPG owned PID analyzers during one-year period.
1.1 Mission
Dugway Proving Ground's mission is to monitor for the presence of chemicals simulating chemical warfare agent (CWA) that may be released inside or out of engineering controls during test operations.
This operation is essential to referee system under test (SUT) challenges in the agent operation to operational design specifications during acquisition testing. The support contractor is expected to repair ppbRAE PID monitoring equipment sent to his facility for refurbishment and repair to assist the government to sustain this capability.
1.2 Background

This requirement contributes to the safety of the personnel involved in the operation in the event of a chemical release and during agent referee tests.
1.3 Scope
The US Army Dugway Proving Grounds (DPG) owns and operates 176 ppbRAE PID small hand held gas analyzers. This is a requested offsite repair service to be executed at the contractor’s location.
