Coquille Indian Tribe, Kilkich Area Master Plan

Questions & Answers # 1

This Questions and Answers document is Agency’s response to questions asked by parties interested in the above referenced Mini-Request for Proposals (“RFP”). This Questions and Answers document is posted in OregonBuys for notification purposes only and does not change any of the language in the Mini-RFP; the Mini- RFP documents can only be changed by written Addenda published in OregonBuys.

Question 1 In preliminary conversations with ODOT staff, it was our understanding that the Coquille Indian Tribe would be leading work related to natural and cultural resources.

One of the project objectives is “Includes infrastructure, facility, and physical environment improvements plan that support the protection of watersheds, nearby estuaries, wildlife habitats, and culturally significant CIT interests.” However, other than the mapping exercise in Task 3.3.b, the SOW is fairly vague about what specific natural and cultural resources planning are required.

Will the Tribe’s natural/cultural resource planners be contributing to the Plan or is the Consultant expected to include an environmental planning specialist on the team?

Response:

This is at the Proposer’s discretion based on their recommended approach to this project. Tribal staff will be involved in project development as needed.
