About this file

This document is a Current and Pending Support worksheet that helps FPAC agencies and federal financial assistance applicants document the allocation of award recipient personnel time across awards, subawards, and contracts.

The federal grant opportunity described is the Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG) program for fiscal year 2024 in South Carolina, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Resources Conservation Service. The purpose of CIG is to stimulate the development and adoption of innovative conservation approaches and technologies in conjunction with agricultural production. CIG generally funds pilot projects, field demonstrations, and on-farm conservation research. The program is not a producer financial assistance program, and project outcomes should benefit a region or the entire state. NRCS will prioritize projects that implement climate-smart agriculture conservation activities to assist producers in improving soil carbon, reducing nitrogen losses, or reducing greenhouse gas emissions. All CIG projects must involve EQIP-eligible producers that meet EQIP's eligibility requirements.
