Project Title: HMSRP Field Camp Tent Repair 2023
Background/Overview:
The HMSRP conducts research in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands (NWHI). The field sites have little to no permanent infrastructure and all supplies must be brought to the field sites for the season. Canvas wall tents and vinyl rain flies are utilized as living, kitchen, and office structures. Each year, repairs are needed for these tents and flies to extend the life of them for future seasons. These tents are to be used at 3 different field sites in the NWHI and are due to be deployed with the field camps in early 2023 and must be inspected and packed prior to that date.
These repairs are essential for the safety and functionality of the field camps.
