STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
NATIONAL OCEANIC AND ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION (NOAA) STATEMENT OF WORK

1.0 GENERAL
1.1 BACKGROUND
The Bayboro Building, located at 263 13thAvenue South, St Petersburg, FL 33701, houses the Southeast
Regional Office of NMFS (SERO), as well as the Southeast Division of the NOAA Office of Law Enforcement.
A uniformed security guard protects the building during regular business hours, and an Access Control System
(ACS) that the SERO IT Staff manages. The ACS provides 24/7 security for the facility and is critical to occupant safety and security. The ACS offers physical security based on individually assigned access privileges, date, time of day, and access requirements.
As this system is tasked with 24/7 access control for the entire building, all system hardware and software must be kept current to industry standards, with replacement parts and vendor support readily available to minimize downtime.
The facility Intrusion Detection System (IDS) protects all federally leased space in the building and provides security after business hours and during facility closures. The IDS is a critical system that ensures the security of the facility and property within and must always be operational with proper monitoring included.
The Southeast Region (SERO) Access Control System (ACS) was last updated in 2020. The system has fallen out of the warranty provided after the installation.
1.2 SCOPE
