UNSPSC 95141702: Spray booth

Spray booths that were pre-constructed at one location and erected at another location

UNSPSC 95141702 Spray booth (Commodity) does not match the recent state and local contract opportunities posted under this code. The opportunities span building construction, renovation, infrastructure, and equipment installation projects across Florida, Georgia, Texas, California, Kentucky, and other states — roofing replacement, hangar construction, bridge replacement, detention center renovation, fire station construction, utility relocation, and similar capital improvements. None of these solicitations involves spray booths, paint booths, or finishing equipment typical of the commodity's nominal scope. The code shows little relevant recent activity for firms seeking to sell or install spray booths to state and local government.

The mismatch reflects a common tagging anomaly in state and local procurement systems, where broad construction or facility codes may capture miscoded opportunities. Buyers evaluating this code for spray booth sales should monitor it cautiously and verify scope details at the RFP stage before committing business development resources. The recent activity — dominated by general contractors bidding on public works and building projects — suggests this code is serving as a catch-all for facility capital projects rather than a reliable channel for spray booth vendors.
