UNSPSC 95121902: Vocational college

A two year college focused on vocational trades

UNSPSC 95121902 Vocational college is a Commodity code naming post-secondary educational institutions offering occupational or trade training. The code does not align with the recent state and local opportunities in this dataset. The solicitations tagged under this code span general construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects at K–12 schools, universities, community colleges, county facilities, and municipal departments—work that is typically classified under construction services codes (UNSPSC 72000000 Building and Facility Construction and Maintenance Services, or subordinate Class and Commodity codes), not institutional procurement or educational services. No opportunities in the block represent purchasing, leasing, or contracting with vocational colleges as service providers or educational vendors; rather, they document construction work performed at educational facilities.

The code shows little relevant recent activity for state and local procurement professionals evaluating educational vendor relationships or institutional contracting. If the intent is to track construction and renovation work at educational campuses, business development activity should be monitored under construction-services codes instead. The mismatch between the nominal code scope and the actual work being solicited renders this taxonomy entry inactive or mislabeled for the opportunities presented.
