UNSPSC 95101707: Telecommunication site

A defined piece of land used to house a telecommunications site

UNSPSC 95101707 Telecommunication site (Commodity) does not align with the state and local procurement activity currently posted under this code. The two recent opportunities tagged to this Commodity — one from Orange County seeking social media management and analytics services and another seeking digital development services — represent software and IT consulting work that falls outside the nominal scope of telecommunications site infrastructure, equipment, or facility services. The code shows little relevant recent activity for work actually matching its title and classification.

Both opportunities originate from the Orange County, California County Executive Office and employ California's local small business and disabled veteran business enterprise preference programs. The social media management solicitation (0172895301GM, due November 5, 2025) targets a five-year cloud-based platform contract with firm fixed fees, requiring compliance with NIST 800-53 cybersecurity standards and supporting 22 county departments and over 18,000 employees across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube. The digital development services RFP (0173069106, due July 28, 2026) spans 13 service categories including discovery, design, development, DevSecOps, artificial intelligence strategy, and data analytics, structured around hourly labor rates across 36 occupational categories. Neither procurement maps to telecommunications site acquisition, deployment, or management activity.
