UNSPSC 92112201: Weapons deployment

UNSPSC 92112201 Weapons deployment is a Commodity code. The code shows little recent relevant activity in state and local procurement. The fourteen most recent opportunities posted under this code include federal funds tracking systems, flight school compliance oversight, AI-powered camera monitoring, fire service consolidation studies, explosive detection canine services, ergonomic evaluations, audio/visual and CCTV systems consulting, post-disaster inspections, professional services pools, emergency management consulting, cybersecurity services, security awareness planning, armed and unarmed security guard services, penetration testing, courthouse security, database management, water utility security patrols, and community violence intervention programming. None of these opportunities involve weapons deployment or weapons systems procurement in any form. The code's nominal scope—weapons deployment—does not align with the actual work state and local governments are buying under it.

The mismatch between code definition and recent solicitation activity suggests either a systematic data-quality issue in how opportunities are tagged to this commodity code or minimal genuine procurement activity in weapons deployment by state and local public bodies. Firms evaluating this code for business development should verify current tagging accuracy and confirm whether the code reliably surfaces relevant opportunities in their target markets before committing resources to pursuit infrastructure.
