UNSPSC 92112103: Nuclear non proliferation

UNSPSC 92112103 Nuclear non proliferation, a Commodity code, shows no relevant recent state and local procurement activity. The recent opportunities block contains twenty-five state and local solicitations posted between February and July 2026, spanning security services, IT consulting, emergency management, infrastructure assessment, and community programs across Texas, Florida, Georgia, Connecticut, Colorado, and other jurisdictions — none of which align with nuclear non-proliferation work. The code's nominal scope (nuclear materials safeguards, export controls, weapons-related compliance) does not match any of the posted opportunities, which focus instead on security guard contracting, cybersecurity services, transportation planning, community violence intervention, and facilities management.

State and local procurement activity under this code does not appear in current solicitations. When a UNSPSC taxonomy code shows no recent competitive activity in state and local markets, it signals either that the category does not reflect actual purchasing patterns among public-sector buyers, or that relevant work is classified under different code families. Review of the code's stated scope and the recent solicitation landscape suggests the mismatch is substantive rather than administrative. Vendors pursuing state and local opportunities should verify their commodity classification against current RFP and RFQ postings to ensure alignment with what jurisdictions are actually buying.
