UNSPSC 86131702: Flight school services

UNSPSC 86131702 Flight school services (Commodity) shows little recent activity aligned with its nominal scope. The recent state and local opportunities tagged under this code are not flight training or pilot instruction services; instead, they span educational diagnosticians and licensed school psychologist services, sign language interpreting, special education contracted services, teacher coaching, professional development, and staffing. The mismatch between the code name and the actual work being bought suggests either inconsistent code assignment by issuing bodies or that the code has been repurposed in practice. No representative flight training solicitations appear in the most-recent opportunities block.

The source identifies no state and local government procurement activity for actual flight school services in the period covered. The code's recent activity, where tagged, reflects miscoding of special education and related student support services across Texas and Georgia school districts, including Katy ISD, Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD, Cypress-Fairbanks ISD, and multiple regional school districts. Without evidence of genuine flight training procurement, this code presents no actionable opportunity for vendors in the aviation training sector.
