UNSPSC 85894003: Isotope administration to whole body using strontium 89 (sr-89)

This classification denotes the group of activities that yields a radiation therapy intervention or procedure of isotope administration of whole body using strontium 89 (sr-89). This intervention or procedure is listed in the World Health Organization's International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems or ICD-10 as code DWY5GGZ

UNSPSC 85894003 Isotope administration to whole body using strontium 89 (Sr-89), a Commodity code, shows minimal relevant recent activity in state and local procurement. The single recent opportunity tagged to this code — Boswell, Mississippi's RFQP 3382-26-R-RFQP-00005-V01 for an occupational therapist position — is unrelated to the code's nominal scope of radioisotope therapeutic administration. The mismatch suggests a tagging error rather than actual procurement demand under this Commodity code's defined scope.

State and local governments soliciting under this code would typically be acquiring radiopharmaceutical administration services, nuclear medicine support, or related therapeutic isotope protocols. However, the available record does not support identifying actual demand, issuing-body patterns, geographic concentration, or representative recent opportunities aligned with the code's stated scope. No other recent opportunities appear in the source material.
