UNSPSC 85893808: Contact radiation of prostate

This classification denotes the group of activities that yields a radiation therapy intervention or procedure of contact radiation of prostate. This intervention or procedure is listed in the World Health Organization's International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems or ICD-10 as code DVY07ZZ

UNSPSC 85893808 Contact radiation of prostate is a Commodity code that shows little relevant recent activity aligned with its nominal scope. The single recent state and local opportunity tagged to this code—Boswell, Mississippi's April 2026 RFQP for an occupational therapist position—does not match the code's medical-procedure classification. The mismatch suggests either a tagging error in the source data or that this code does not currently reflect active state and local procurement for contact radiation therapy services.

Without opportunities demonstrating the actual scope of prostate radiation services being solicited by state and local governments, no pattern of issuing bodies, geographic concentration, or representative work streams can be established from recent postings. Firms evaluating this code should verify current UNSPSC alignment and monitor for future solicitations from health systems, hospital districts, cancer centers, or state health departments that would more logically procure contact radiation oncology services.
