UNSPSC 85893436: Beam radiation of buttock skin using photons >10 mev

This classification denotes the group of activities that yields a radiation therapy intervention or procedure of beam radiation of buttock skin using photons >10 mev. This intervention or procedure is listed in the World Health Organization's International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems or ICD-10 as code DH092ZZ

UNSPSC 85893436 Beam radiation of buttock skin using photons >10 mev is a Commodity code that shows no relevant recent state and local procurement activity. The County of Santa Clara Health System's July 2026 solicitation (RFSQHHSFY270052) for temporary health professional staffing services—posted with an October 7, 2026 response date—is unrelated to this code's nominal scope of high-energy photon radiation therapy targeting a specific anatomical site. The staffing solicitation instead procures temporary placements across ancillary clinical categories including audiology, diagnostic imaging, respiratory care, surgical support, and therapy services, which fall outside radiation oncology procurement.

This code does not align with observable state and local purchasing patterns in the available record and warrants further research into whether the underlying taxonomy entry reflects active procurement demand or represents a specialized medical service with limited jurisdictional engagement.
