UNSPSC 85582422 Repair soft palate, external approach is a Commodity code that does not align with the state and local contract opportunities posted under it. The recent solicitations tagged with this code are unrelated to surgical repair of the soft palate—they span inmate medical and pharmacy services, pharmacy benefit management, virtual primary and urgent care, peer support services, and fire department medical direction. The mismatch suggests either a data classification error or a jurisdiction's internal tagging that diverges significantly from the code's clinical scope.

The code shows no recent activity aligned to its intended commodity definition. State and local procurement professionals should verify the correct UNSPSC classification for opportunities in correctional health services, pharmacy benefit administration, virtual care platforms, behavioral health peer support, and emergency medical services medical direction before using this code for sourcing or portfolio analysis.
