UNSPSC 85131710: Immunology research services

In this classification, this commodity consists of comprehensive services required to be an immunology research service

UNSPSC 85131710 Immunology research services (Commodity) does not describe the work being solicited in recent state and local opportunities tagged to this code. The five most recent postings include occupational medical surveillance, disability medical evaluations, medical review officer services, pharmacy benefit management administration, temporary health professional staffing, and emergency professional staffing — none of which align with immunology research. The code appears to carry significant tagging mismatch within the state and local procurement ecosystem, rendering the recent-opportunity block an unreliable signal of actual buying activity under this Commodity classification.

No state or local opportunities in the source represent genuine immunology research services procurement. Without accurate recent activity data, characterizing issuing-body mix, geographic concentration, or representative work scope is not supported. Vendors evaluating this code should treat recent posting volume as a data-quality issue rather than market signal and conduct independent outreach to state health departments, university systems, and public health laboratories to validate whether immunology research contracting actually occurs in state and local markets or whether this Commodity code remains dormant in public procurement practice.
