UNSPSC 85111704: Mosquito management or control services

In this classification, this commodity indicates the activities required for the management and control of mosquito infestations

UNSPSC 85111704 Mosquito management or control services is a Commodity code, but the recent state and local opportunities posted under it do not reflect mosquito control work. Instead, the tagged solicitations span opioid settlement grants, flu vaccination clinics, worksite wellness programs, and evidence-based disease prevention for older adults—none of which fall within the code's nominal scope of mosquito abatement or vector control. The mismatch suggests either a tagging error in the procurement systems or that the code is not actively used for state and local mosquito management solicitations at this time.

The source shows no recent opportunities materially related to mosquito management or control services. State and local governments may be procuring mosquito control work under different UNSPSC classifications, through informal RFQ processes, or via standing municipal contracts not captured in these records. Bidders evaluating this code should verify current activity directly with state departments of health, county vector control programs, and municipal environmental health offices before committing resources to pursuit.
