UNSPSC 82111705: Speech writing

UNSPSC 82111705 Speech writing is a Commodity code that shows little relevant recent activity aligned with its nominal scope. The recent opportunities posted under this code span irrigation system construction, open education resources content development and review, public outreach consulting, workforce program design, physical fitness assessment software, municipal code revision, housing tax credit program editing, transportation planning, and grant writing services — none of which constitute speech writing as typically understood. The code's abstract definition does not map to what state and local governments are actually buying in the current market sample, and the few opportunities nominally tagged to it appear to be misfiled or represent only tangential writing-adjacent services rather than commissioned speechwriting engagements.

The issuing bodies in this sample include the City of DeBary, Florida; the Texas Education Agency; the Orange County Transportation Authority; Atlanta Beltline Inc.; the City of McDonough, Georgia; the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs; the City of Savannah; Workforce Solutions Alamo; and a District of Columbia office. Geographic spread spans Florida, Texas, California, Georgia, and the District of Columbia. Without a coherent set of opportunities actually soliciting speech writing services, the code presents minimal decision relevance for business development professionals pursuing that work under state and local procurement channels.
