UNSPSC 78141804: Loading terminal facility management

Turnkey service to operate and manage loading facilities and terminals

UNSPSC 78141804 Loading terminal facility management is a Commodity code with minimal recent activity aligned to its nominal scope. State and local governments rarely solicit under this code for work matching the category name; the single opportunity tagged to it—the City of DeBary's Rob Sullivan Park Irrigation Improvements (IFB 0315, April 10, 2015 response date)—is a park irrigation system installation project bearing no connection to loading terminal operations, equipment, or logistics infrastructure. The mismatch signals either a tagging error in the procurement database or a highly specialized, infrequent use case where the code has been repurposed to describe work outside its standard meaning.

No meaningful geographic concentration or issuing-body pattern emerges from the available record. The single example is a small Florida municipality executing a capital project ($90,000 engineer estimate) unrelated to terminal management. The source contains no evidence of state agencies, counties, transit authorities, or other jurisdictions soliciting loading terminal facility management services, equipment leases, or operations contracts under this code in the past several months. If your firm pursues terminal-related work, monitor broader codes within the transportation and logistics families; this commodity code does not currently reflect active procurement demand in the state and local market.
