UNSPSC 77101906: Oil depot or terminal site investigation

UNSPSC 77101906 Oil depot or terminal site investigation (Commodity) shows minimal relevant recent state and local procurement activity. The two most recent opportunities tagged under this code diverge substantially from the nominal scope: the City of Union City, Georgia, RFP-CD-26-01 (due June 10, 2026) solicits plan review and inspection services for building-code compliance across construction projects, and Boulder County Parks and Open Space in Colorado issued an RFI (due May 15, 2026) to evaluate whether herbicides contain per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Neither opportunity involves oil depot or terminal site investigation.

The code shows activity across at least two states (Georgia and Colorado) and represents a mix of city and county issuing bodies, but the opportunities do not align with the code's stated commodity definition. This mismatch suggests either systemic miscoding in the state and local procurement systems tagging these solicitations, or the code's nominal scope does not reflect current buying patterns under it. Business development professionals should verify whether this code sees genuine depot or terminal site investigation work in their target markets before investing pursuit resources.
