UNSPSC 71151318: Acoustic waveform processing services

Services to process the acoustic waves into images

UNSPSC 71151318 Acoustic waveform processing services, a Commodity code, shows no alignment with the recent state and local contract opportunities tagged under it. The two most recent solicitations—Rob Sullivan Park irrigation system installation (City of DeBary, Florida, IFB) and armored car and secure courier services (School Board of Polk County, Florida, ITB)—involve physical infrastructure construction and transportation logistics, not acoustic signal processing or any related technical service. The code's nominal scope covers digital audio analysis, filtering, and signal transformation work; neither opportunity involves sound processing, waveform analysis, or related acoustic services. This suggests a cataloging mismatch at the source rather than active state and local procurement demand under the code's actual definition.

No relevant recent state and local opportunities exist under this code. Firms pursuing acoustic waveform processing work should verify that issuing bodies are tagging relevant solicitations with the correct UNSPSC category before committing business development resources to monitor activity at this code level.
