UNSPSC 71131418: Bacterial and fungus control services

Control the growth of bacteria, fungus

UNSPSC 71131418 Bacterial and fungus control services is a Commodity code that shows no relevant recent state and local procurement activity. The code shows little alignment with the recent opportunities in the dataset, which predominantly solicit water utility infrastructure work — mapping and line locates, water main replacement, pipe lining, sewer system rehabilitation, and treatment plant construction — rather than pest management, microbial remediation, or fungicide application services. The opportunities posted between January and June 2026 span multiple states and issuing bodies but address water and wastewater system design, construction, inspection, and material procurement; none explicitly match the nominal scope of bacterial and fungus control services.

The recent opportunities solicited under codes tagged in this family originate from state water agencies, county commissions, municipal utilities, and special districts across Texas, Florida, Georgia, and Connecticut, with repeat activity from Orange County, Florida and the City of Lubbock, Texas in water infrastructure procurement. Without verified state and local solicitations matching bacterial and fungus control services, this code warrants a watch posture rather than active pursuit until procurement activity more clearly aligned with the code's nominal scope appears in state and local channels.
