UNSPSC 71121116: Nitrogen related applications through coiled tubing

The use of nitrogen gas applications through coiled tubing.

UNSPSC 71121116 Nitrogen related applications through coiled tubing is a Commodity code that does not map to the recent state and local procurement activity shown in the source. The code's narrow technical scope—nitrogen delivery systems using coiled tubing—has no representation among the 30+ recent solicitations provided. Instead, the opportunities span well drilling, well rehabilitation, well abandonment, pump installation, water treatment plant design, wastewater pump station services, landfill gas collection systems, and site remediation. None of these activities involve coiled-tubing nitrogen applications or closely related work. The source shows no relevant recent opportunities under this code.

The disconnect reflects either a tagging error in the procurement data or a genuine absence of state and local demand for this specific commodity. Firms targeting coiled-tubing nitrogen services should not rely on this code as a lead-generation source for state and local opportunities. The recent activity in nitrogen-adjacent infrastructure—water wells, gas wells, and remediation—uses conventional drilling, plugging, and pump systems, not coiled-tubing delivery methods.
