UNSPSC 71112012: Neutron porosity services

The measurement of either thermal or epithermal neutron detection to determine the porosity in a borehole.

UNSPSC 71112012 Neutron porosity services is a Commodity code that does not align with the recent state and local contract opportunities available in the data source. The single landfill gas collection and control system expansion solicitation, irrigation system improvements project, digester gas utilization DBFOOM agreement, and municipal executive search services procurement posted between January and April 2026 fall outside the scope of neutron porosity measurement and analysis services. Neutron porosity services typically support formation evaluation and reservoir characterization in oil and gas exploration, geotechnical assessment, and soil/rock analysis — none of which appear in the recent opportunities. The source shows no issuing bodies, geographic concentrations, or representative state and local procurement activity directly related to neutron porosity services.

The code shows little relevant recent activity in state and local government procurement. Business development professionals should verify whether this code is actively used by state and local agencies in their target markets before committing resources to pursuit strategy development.
