UNSPSC 70141705: Extension services

UNSPSC 70141705 Extension services is a Commodity code covering software platforms and consulting services that state and local governments use to manage vegetation, irrigation systems, and public works operational planning. Recent solicitations show municipalities buying vegetation management software-as-a-service to predict growth on electric distribution systems and coordinate contractor trim cycles; on-call irrigation installation and maintenance labor across municipal properties; and consulting assessments of public works operational efficiency and staffing. Issuing bodies include city governments and consolidated municipal authorities, soliciting both technology platforms and professional services on demand across their service footprint.

Leon County's RFP 10126RR (posted September 9, 2026, due October 13, 2026) seeks vegetation management SaaS with predictive modeling, contractor dispatch capability, and critical-area alerting integrated into the electric system. Columbus Consolidated Government's RFP No. 27-0010 (posted August 11, 2026, due September 30, 2026) awards dual on-call contracts for irrigation installation and maintenance throughout the city on a two-year term with three optional one-year renewals. The City of College Park issued an RFI on July 24, 2026 (due August 7, 2026) for consulting support on public works operational assessment and staffing analysis. Opportunities span Georgia jurisdictions, with recent activity concentrated in municipal consolidations seeking to optimize departmental efficiency and infrastructure operations.
