UNSPSC 70141703: Crop administration

UNSPSC 70141703 Crop administration is a Commodity code that shows no meaningful alignment with the recent state and local contract opportunities posted under it. The Georgia World Congress Center Authority's February 2026 production services RFP solicits comprehensive audio, LED display, and lighting equipment for a FIFA Fan Festival event, while the City of College Park, Georgia's January 2026 RFP seeks executive search services for municipal leadership recruitment. Neither opportunity relates to crop administration, agricultural production management, or related farming and crop-support services that the code's name suggests.

The mismatch indicates that these opportunities have been tagged to UNSPSC 70141703 in error or that the code is being used as a default catchall for general government services outside agriculture. No state or local procurement activity appears under this code for its actual commodity scope — crop production services, agricultural land management, or farming administration support — in the available recent opportunities window. Firms pursuing state and local agriculture-related work should verify code assignment through direct RFP review and contact with issuing bodies, as classification accuracy varies across jurisdictions.
