UNSPSC 70141602: Biological control services

UNSPSC 70141602 Biological control services, a Commodity code, shows no recent state and local procurement activity aligned with its nominal scope. The two opportunities posted under this code—a production-services contract for audio, lighting, and LED systems at a FIFA Fan Festival (Georgia World Congress Center Authority, RFP PE92200RFP2026000000072, due March 10, 2026) and an executive search services contract for a city manager recruitment (City of College Park, Georgia, RFP 26-37, due February 18, 2026)—are plainly unrelated to biological control. The code appears to have been misapplied in the source data, and no meaningful procurement pattern exists under the category's intended definition.

Without relevant recent opportunities to characterize, no actionable signals emerge for vendors pursuing biological control services in state and local markets. The mismatch between the code's stated purpose and the actual solicitations tagged to it suggests either a data-tagging error or a category that sees minimal activity at the state and local level. Firms in pest management, integrated pest management, or biological control should monitor actual opportunities in related UNSPSC families or verify coding accuracy in their target jurisdictions rather than rely on this code as a reliable procurement signal.
