UNSPSC 70141505: Beverage crops production

UNSPSC 70141505 Beverage crops production, a Commodity code, shows no recent state and local procurement activity aligned with its nominal scope. The two opportunities tagged under this code in early 2026—a production services contract for FIFA Fan Festival audio, video, and lighting equipment at the Georgia World Congress Center Authority (posted February 24, 2026, due March 10, 2026) and an executive search services RFP from the City of College Park, Georgia (posted January 28, 2026, due February 18, 2026)—are unrelated to agricultural beverage crops production. The apparent mismatch suggests either misclassification in source databases or incidental coding artifacts; neither procurement involves farming, cultivation, or production of crops for beverage use.

State and local buyers do not appear to be actively soliciting under this code for work within its intended scope. The code may see activity in specialized agricultural procurement contexts or through cooperative purchasing vehicles that are not reflected in recent public notice databases, but the current signal is minimal. Business development professionals evaluating this code should verify whether their target geographies and customer types (state departments of agriculture, regional purchasing consortia, or specialty food procurement) maintain separate purchasing channels or use alternative UNSPSC classifications for beverage crop inputs and services.
