UNSPSC 70141504: Aromatic plants production

UNSPSC 70141504 Aromatic plants production is a Commodity code showing no meaningful recent state and local procurement activity aligned with its nominal scope. The two opportunities tagged under this code in the most recent state and local contract opportunities block are unrelated to aromatic plant production: the Georgia World Congress Center Authority's solicitation for comprehensive production services (audio, LED display, and lighting equipment) for a FIFA Fan Festival event, and the City of College Park, Georgia's RFP for executive search services to recruit a City Manager. Neither opportunity involves the cultivation, harvesting, processing, or distribution of aromatic plants or plant-based products that would logically fall under this Commodity code.

The mismatch between the code's stated scope and the recent opportunities suggests either a tagging error in the state and local procurement system or minimal activity under this code in the jurisdictions tracked. Without additional opportunities demonstrating actual aromatic plant production procurement by state and local governments, there is insufficient basis to characterize the issuing-body mix, geographic concentration, or market activity under this code. Business development professionals should verify whether aromatic plant production is a meaningful procurement category for their target state and local markets before investing in capability development or pursuit strategy aligned with this code.
