UNSPSC 60123702: Macrame beads

UNSPSC 60123702 Macrame beads, a Commodity code, shows no recent state and local procurement activity aligned with its nominal scope. The three most recent opportunities tagged under this code involve carpet replacement services (City of Madison Community Development Authority), law enforcement equipment contracting (Sourcewell cooperative procurement), and arts and craft supplies for parks and recreation (Columbus Consolidated Government)—none of which concern macrame beads or related craft materials. The code appears dormant or misapplied in state and local procurement systems as of mid-2026.

The geographic spread and issuing bodies of the opportunities actually posted under this code reflect general municipal and cooperative purchasing rather than activity in the macrame or bead category itself. Madison, Wisconsin; multiple Washington state counties (Franklin, Grant, Grays Harbor, Chelan, Yakima) through the Sourcewell cooperative; and Columbus, Georgia represent the recent jurisdictions, but none solicited macrame beads. Without documented state and local demand for macrame beads as a discrete procurement line item, this code does not present a viable market focus for business development in the state and local sector.
