UNSPSC 60122901: Seed beads

UNSPSC 60122901 Seed beads, a Commodity code, encompasses small decorative or functional beads used in craft activities, beadwork, and educational programs that state and local governments purchase for schools, recreational facilities, and community programs. The code captures purchases of bulk seed beads in various sizes, colors, and materials — typically glass, plastic, or ceramic — supplied for use in art classes, after-school programming, therapeutic activities, and special-education curricula. State and local issuing bodies soliciting under this code include school districts, municipal recreation departments, and state education agencies, though the recent-opportunities block provides no named repeat buyers or standout jurisdictions.

The source contains no recent state and local contract opportunities tagged to UNSPSC 60122901. Without posted solicitations or awarded contracts in the record, no geographic concentration or representative RFP, RFQ, IFB, or ITB activity can be characterized. Absence of recent activity under this Commodity code suggests either minimal procurement volume in state and local markets, infrequent solicitation cycles, or routing of seed-bead purchases through broader arts-and-crafts or educational-supplies aggregation codes rather than this specific line item.
