UNSPSC 60121601: Wood mannequins

UNSPSC 60121601 Wood mannequins is a Commodity code that captures display fixtures and props used in law enforcement training, museum exhibits, retail settings, and public-facing installations. State and local governments procure wood mannequins primarily through cooperative purchasing vehicles and educational institutions seeking display or training equipment. The issuing bodies soliciting under this code include state purchasing cooperatives, county law enforcement agencies, and public universities. Scope of work centers on the supply and installation of wooden display figures, often as part of larger turnkey projects that bundle design, fabrication, and on-site assembly.

Sourcewell, a Minnesota-based cooperative purchasing vehicle, issued RFP #061626 on May 12, 2026 (due June 16, 2026) to establish a law enforcement equipment contracting solution for participating entities across Washington state and multiple jurisdictions nationwide. Texas A&M University's Division of Finance Procurement Services posted TAMU-RFP-26-4981 on April 10, 2026 for turnkey design and installation of a Hall of Honor Display, indicating active procurement in Texas higher education. Recent activity shows the code seeing use in the upper Midwest and South, though the Sourcewell cooperative structure extends geographic reach across the United States and Canada. The cooperative purchasing model dominates recent solicitation activity, bundling wood mannequins with broader law enforcement and institutional display equipment categories to standardize terms across multiple participating public entities.
