UNSPSC 60121142: Tagboard or railroad board

UNSPSC 60121142 Tagboard or railroad board is a Commodity code with minimal recent activity in state and local procurement. The single recent opportunity posted under this code is a Sourcewell RFP (#061626, due June 16, 2026) for law enforcement equipment on behalf of participating entities across Washington state and beyond — a solicitation whose scope (law enforcement gear) bears no clear relationship to tagboard or railroad board products. The mismatch suggests either a coding error in the opportunity posting or that this Commodity code does not currently reflect active procurement demand in the state and local market. No other recent opportunities are present in the source.

The Sourcewell RFP does identify a multi-jurisdictional issuing structure spanning Franklin County, Grant County, Grays Harbor County, Chelan County, and Yakima County in Washington, plus numerous other governmental agencies, school districts, and tribal entities nationwide and in Canada through a cooperative purchasing framework. However, absent other supporting opportunities coded to this Commodity, the geographic and issuing-body data cannot be reliably attributed to tagboard or railroad board procurement activity. Firms evaluating this code should verify the scope and UNSPSC assignment with Sourcewell directly at rfp@sourcewell-mn.gov or 888-894-1930 before pursuing the opportunity.
