UNSPSC 60121007: Lithographs

UNSPSC 60121007 Lithographs, a Commodity code, encompasses engraving and nameplate fabrication services that state and local governments procure for commemorative plaques, signage, and similar applications. The code captures professional engraving work, including custom nameplate production where bidders must match existing engraved text and specifications. Issuing bodies under this code include county governments and likely other local administrative bodies seeking customized engraving and marking services for institutional and commemorative purposes.

Activity under the code remains sparse. San Mateo County posted a single recent opportunity — Solicitation 2026RFQ00337, a request for quotations (RFQ) for engraving services to nameplate an existing plaque with two lines of text matching existing engraved plates, with a due date of February 11, 2026. The County evaluation criteria emphasized cost, conformance to specifications, and product availability, with award intended for the lowest responsive bid from a qualified and responsible manufacturer or authorized vendor. No budget range, set-aside designations, or incumbent vendors were identified in the solicitation. Geographic activity is limited to California based on the single recent posting.
