UNSPSC 56131606: Paint color fan deck

Device for displaying paint color systems.

UNSPSC 56131606 Paint color fan deck is a Commodity code that captures display and specification materials used to communicate paint color options and selections in procurement contexts. State and local governments use this code to buy reference decks, color swatches, and fan-style color sample collections that support paint specification, vendor communication, and project documentation. The issuing bodies soliciting under this code span cooperative purchasing vehicles and higher-education institutions. Sourcewell, a Minnesota local government cooperative serving thousands of governmental agencies, school districts, nonprofits, and tribal governments across the United States and Canada, appears as a repeat buyer coordinating multi-jurisdictional procurement frameworks.

The recent opportunities recorded under this code show limited direct relevance to paint color fan decks themselves. Sourcewell's RFP #061626 (due June 16, 2026) procures law enforcement equipment across multiple Washington counties and participating entities nationwide—a scope misaligned with paint specification materials. Texas A&M University's TAMU-RFP-26-4981 (due April 10, 2026) sought turnkey design and installation services for a Hall of Honor Display, which may incidentally involve color selection but does not target paint color fan decks as a primary deliverable. The code shows little recent state and local procurement activity directly aligned with its nominal scope of paint color reference materials.
